The Need For Generosity

There is a tremendous need for us Christians to get back to being generous in our daily living. We are surrounded by so many people who have become so materialistic that the art of thinking about other people’s needs before our own has eluded us. We have all seen the catastrophic events of the storms in North Carolina, and the devastation of the wildfires in California. Just imagine that everything seems to be normal one day and then everything you had is gone the next day. Thousands of people are having to deal with this trauma. I am amazed at the generosity of so many people coming to help with these catastrophes by bringing campers, food, water, clothing, and building “tiny houses” for people to live in. This is how God intended for us to be generous. Giving to others without expecting anything in return.

Affirm Your Spouse

God has always intended for us to affirm our spouses because we truly see them as a gift from God. I have taught my clients over the years that they have to be able to tell their spouses regularly how precious they are to us.
